TELLING THE TRUTH.

Hello to all:

A young woman who had visited a psychotherapist who helped her overcome most of her problems did not inform her employer of this background and was given the job which she performed admirably.

A few months later the boss was interviewing another person for a job but this person admitted that they had received psychological help from a psychotherapist in the past.  Although the boss was cordial to the applicant, as soon as the person left, he threw the application in the waste paper basket.

He said the last thing they needed around here was another crazy person.  He wasn't referring to the first person in this story but rather, he was making a joke about all of them being a little bit crazy anyway.

The point of this story is that many employers don't want anyone around who has had psychological problems because of the fear that they may back slide at any minute. While I prefer the truth, reality prevents a person from telling the truth in some rare instances.   The above story is one of those incidences.

If you are experiencing stress, especially if it concerns how much money you can earn, why not give me a try.   My advice, although valuable, is nevertheless free.  If I do not live up to my promise, you don't have to say that you saw a shrink.

If I help you, and I believe that I can, you could say that you received some help from a Behavioral Consultant.  Nobody is going to look at you negatively if you admit to such a decision.  The main thing to remember about this whole message is simply this. --- I can help you!!!  Thinking positively is half of the battle.  It's the rest of the battle that becomes so important.
