The latest woman to come forward, whose last name is Ladd opens this saga up to some rather interesting possibilities. Since the lady woke up in one of Cosby's friends apartment, if that person comes forward to collaborate her story, Cosby's facade of innocence would quickly disappear.
However, there is one rather large point in
Cosby's favor. If the friend is also married he probably would not want to blow his own cover by underlining the validity of Mrs. Ladd's story.
Then again, this situation could easily backfire on Bill Cosby. Some people in his position become over-confident and if his "friend" was taken advantage of by Cosby in some other scenario, he might just be willing to deal with all the negatives just to get 'even" with our pal Cos.
