THE MEDICINAL POWER OF LAUGHTER

Hello Everyone: --- [Even if you are the only one.]

A million years ago, I watched George Carlin on the Ed Sullivan show.   You couldn’t use vulgarity and/or swear on TV back then.   Nevertheless, George had plenty of excellent material.   His skit had him playing the part of a TV newsman doing the local news in a small town.  Here is his one-line gem.

“Stranger in town, run over by welcome wagon.”

Just an aside in here.   Wiley & Sons has broken down and is no longer in the race.   Dorrance is leading by a considerable margin and we are still waiting to hear from the other three contenders from New York, Montreal and Toronto.   We are now entering into the far turn headed for the stretch and the finish line.
