Stating that homosexual or lesbian behavior is not totally determined by genetic factors is a sure way to alienate a large number of people. Almost all of them will have adopted the above life-style.
The following words attributed to Anne Heche are appropriate to this discussion: --- "I was never attracted to a woman before Ellen [DeGeneres."] I have a right to love who I want to love. I understand that many homosexuals [as well as lesbians] believe it's not a choice, --- but I made a choice out of joy."
Many individuals point to this one incident as being the exception to the rule but I think in many cases it is the rule. Even if the individuals in question, either are unwilling to admit it, or even more obtuse, don't even know that they are making such a choice.
